Climate Conversation Tree Drawing 28

While hiking I look for interesting trees with scars and personality. I sketch the tree on the spot in a small sketch book I carry with me on the trail. Then I return to the tree with good paper and begin the drawing with a rubbing. I finish the tree in my studio using the marks provided by the tree’s life.
